Be transported to the past with blacksmith Jacob.
Watch him forge and make tools and items using the same techniques that were developed over 1000 years ago.
Jacob will make a small hand sledgehammer demonstrating the process of making one of the most fundamental tools that helped shape the world we know today.
Without the humble hand hammer the Blacksmith was unable to forge the Peel for the Baker, the Shears for the Tailor, the Awl for the Shoemaker, the Cleaver for the Butcher, the Saw for the Carpenter or the Chisels for the Stonemason
Will be making small items all day but will commence the process of making the sledge hammer, this process will continue for about 1.5 hours-be sure not to miss this special demonstration!!!
